A short walk behind the hotel is the beautiful landscaped reservoir of Queens Valley, a haven for nature lovers and walkers alike.

One mile will take you to the village of Gorey with the Jersey Potteries (link), famous for its restaurant and seafood specialities. The picturesque harbour of Gorey is a further half mile along a flower filled promenade, where al fresco eating and drinking takes place beneath the towering ramparts of Mont Orgueil Castle (link).
